Children’s Mobile Crisis Response and Stabilization Services, sometimes referred to as Mobile Response and Stabilization services, are available statewide for children and youths up to age 21 and their families. They access this through the Children’s Crisis and Referral Line to help interrupt behavioral health crises by connecting families with behavioral health services in their communities. The option to call, text, or chat is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 844-HELP4WV or 844-435-7498 (call or text) or by chat at https://www.help4wv.com/ccl.  Mobile crisis response teams have individuals with specialized training in de-escalation tools and knowledge of resources to assist individuals up to 21 years old in stabilizing the immediate situation. Staff then assist these individuals in accessing programs to help keep them safe, healthy, and happy in their homes, schools, and communities.
