Heather Cummings lives in Dunbar, WV with her husband, daughter and two cats. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is a Licensed Social Worker. Heather has 16 ½ years of experience in social work, working for the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (WVDHHR). Within the WVDHHR, she was introduced to Wraparound while in the protective service field and has learned much since that initial introduction. She believes in the mission of WVDHHR and WV Wraparound as whole. She has seen not only the WVDHHR staff work hard at providing home and community-based, strength based services, but the providers across our state as well. She is excited for West Virginia’s families to receive the high-fidelity WV Wraparound that will help children stay within their communities when possible. Heather looks forward to working with, training, and coaching all the wonderful people who are involved with the WV Wraparound.
